About this event

  • Event lasts 3 hours 15 minutes

Join us for a hike & exploration through a rare fragment of Irish temperate rainforest.

The Devil's Glen (apparently named after the satanic roar of the waterfall before the reservoir was built) is a beautiful steep wooded valley near Ashford, Co.Wicklow.

The marked trail isn’t too difficult, but we might take some detours off the beaten track (staying true to the name). 😀

There’s also an option to take a dip in the Vartry River towards the end! 🥶

We’ll be out for about 3 hours in total. Should be lovely, whatever the weather 🤞

🗓️ Date: Saturday 15th February

⏰ Time: We'll aim to meet at 09:45 (as the car park tends to fill up quite early) and get going by 10am

📍 Location: Devil’s Glen Car Park- https://maps.app.goo.gl/LjZUy6fcE1aEdB1S7

🎒 What to bring: The usual outdoorsy stuff, inc rain jackets, layers, hiking boots ideally, gloves, water, snacks, swim gear (optional) 🥽
