The Collaborations Agency and Anna Clifford are thrilled to announce Comedy for Witches: A Samhain Special!
We’ve been falling off our broomsticks laughing since this monthly show began in January, and since it’s held on the last Thursday of every month, it’s only right to go bigger and better on Thursday, October 31st.
Let’s celebrate Halloween’s original roots with a Samhain Special! Expect comedy, tarot readings, ghost stories, and spooky games.
Comedy for Witches is a night with the stars—and some comedians too! Join your host, Anna Clifford, along with some of the best comedians on the circuit for an evening of astrology, blaming the moon, magical storytelling, and plenty of audience interaction.
We use the word witch with a pinch of salt, eye of newt, and hair of an ex! It’s for ANYONE who feels connected to something powerful beyond us, like the moon... or the iCloud!
If you love dressing up for Halloween, go for it! If you just want to add a little magic to your outfit or rock an extended eyeliner flick, that’s fine too. We’ll have a prize for the best dressed!
Doors open at 7pm Grab a drink, enjoy some tricks, treats, and tarot before the show kicks off. Show starts at 8pm
The night finishes at 10:30pm, with an interval, and afterward, you’re welcome to head back upstairs and continue your evening until the Bernard Shaw closes.
Please note: we’re not at our usual monthly venue, but at Racket Space, downstairs at The Bernard Shaw in Drumcondra.

Host:
Irish comedian Anna Clifford is a natural entertainer with a strong stage presence and jokes to match. She’s had audiences around the globe laughing with her unbelievable stories and clever observations on millennial life. Anna began her comedy career in Vancouver, Canada, and has since stood out in the Irish and UK comedy circuits. She’s also spiritual—gin being her first preference!
