Caring for an Adult Child with an Intellectual Disability and/or Autism
Tuesday 18th February: 11am-12.30pm
This session will explore the significant responsibilities of the family carer when caring for an adult loved one with an intellectual disability or autism, including providing emotional support, facilitating skill development, advocating for the individual, personal care and creating a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Facilitator: Jane Johnstone is a family carer to her two adult sons with intellectual disability and autism and also has a BA (hons) is Psychology, Post Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapy and Diploma in Challenging Behaviours.

Facilitator: Jeanette Delahunty is the founder of TSK Academy who are dedicated to fostering understanding, inclusion, and growth for neurodivergent individuals and their families.
