About this event

The Frederick Douglass Festival is teaming up with Wexford Local Development and the Hope and Courage Collective for a workshop focused on responding to hate & division in our Communities by providing participants with skills, knowledge and resources for building networks of solidarity across Wexford.

The workshop will deliver Hope and Courage Collectives groundbreaking Something to Fight For research focused on progressive messaging in the face of hate.  The workshop will create space for strategies on how to communicate with people in our communities to draw them away from hateful narratives; while discussing the importance of community organising for real positive change.

The workshop will also focus on supporting you to navigate conversations with family, friends, neighbours and our wider community in order to create a Wexford where everyone  flourish, no exceptions.
