After many years working as an actor with an amazing and prolific career (featuring many movies and tv shows like "Casi Angeles"), in 2016 Benjamín Amadeo broke into the music world with his first single, “Volaré.” It was the first track from his debut album, which he would release two months later: Vida Lejana. “Volaré” quickly became a hit, with millions of streams and airplay on the country’s most popular radio stations. This was followed by the releases of “10mil” and “Ya no hay más,” while he was already sharing the stage, invited to perform by artists such as Sandra Mihanovich, Miranda!, Ciro y los Persas, and Abel Pintos. On May 20, 2017, he was chosen to open Ed Sheeran’s concert at Estadio Único de La Plata, performing solo with his guitar.

The album Vida Lejana earned two nominations at the Premios Gardel music awards: Best Male Pop Album and Best New Artist Album, the latter of which he won.
