About Barróg Healthcare

Barróg Healthcare is an independent health and social care organisation specialising in the design and provision of services for both care experience young people and people with disabilitities. We provide bespoke packages to invividuals from our base in Cork and Dublin, with services nationwide.

What is required:

Social Workers (€14.00 to €17.38)

  • QQI Level 5 major award (8 components / modules) in Health or Social Care or equivalent is required

OR

  • A commitment to complete the major award if some components / modules are already completed.

Social Care Worker (€15.00 to €19.86) it is expected that new entrants will start on the lowest entry point to the scale for the role.

· B.A. in Social Care, QQI Level 7 PLUS registration as a Social Care Worker with CORU by Nov 2025 is required.

OR

· A sufficiently relevant qualification in Social Care or a related field along with registration as a Social Care Worker with CORU by Nov 2025.


  • Have an excellent command of the English language, both verbal & written
  • Confidential, calm, polite and professional individual who is well presented and has a kind and caring nature
  • Full Driving License
  • Available to work full-time
  • Right to work in Ireland/Cork
