Balance-ability Bike Programme for Kids Aged 3-6 Years Old
Programme Overview: The Balanceability Bike Programme is designed to teach children aged 3-6 the fundamental skills needed to ride a pedal bike. This engaging programme utilises unique ergonomic balance bikes and a variety of fun activities to build confidence, spatial awareness, and dynamic biking skills.
Balance Bikes are lightweight, pedal-less bikes that promotes balance and coordination between the feet and hands. The sessions are delivered by certified Cycling Tutors.
Programme Details:
- Location: Boyle Sports Complex F52 HK46
- Commencement Date: March 5th
- Dates: Monday 31st March Monday 7th,14th, 28th April
- Time: 5:30 pm – 6:15 pm - 45 minute slot
- Time: 6:15 pm – 7:00 pm- 45 minute slot
- Equipment: Bikes and helmets will be provided.
- Duration: 4 weeks
Additional Information: This programme offers an excellent starting point for children to learn cycling and promotes an active lifestyle from an early age. Spaces are limited, so early booking is highly recommended.
Important: Parents/guardians/carers must remain onsite for the duration of the hour programme to support, provide care and toileting duties. We cannot make exceptions to this rule. Tea and Coffee will be available while you wait.
Cost: The programme is FREE and is funded by Castlerea Family Resource Centre, Tulsa, and Healthy Ireland.
