The performance is a fusion of stop frame animation, projection mapping and aerial dance. As mothers and artmakers we are interested in the changing dynamics of motherhood in modern society. The performance reflects on how we perceive ourselves as mothers and the self-worth that we attach to the role of caregiver and procreator. |As part of this performance we will present an inquiry which we engaged with our community reviewing the emotional response to the huge task of rearing a child.
