Crochet is the art of creating textiles by hand using a crochet hook and a series of stitches with yarn/wool or thread. While it is often compared to knitting, crochet uses only one hook and has an infinite number of different stitches to create different textures and patterns.

The word “Crochet” means “hook” in French!
