We are pleased to host Dario Voltolini, author of the novel ‘Invernale’, for a meeting with readers at our Institute.
‘Invernale’ is the story of a man who works as a butcher and his slow decline, due to an unexpected accident. His son follows him step by step during his illness, which is told through a sincere and meticulous look.
This book was included in the finalist sestina of the Premio Strega 2024, appreciated for its originality and rawness.
Dario Voltolini is the author of numerous collections of short stories, novels, illustrated books, radio plays, song lyrics and librettos for the theatre.
This meeting, moderated by Enrica Ferrara, will be followed by a small wine reception.
The meeting will be in Italian and English.
