The Embassy of Ireland in London proudly presents Irish Art Now, an exhibition curated by Joe Duggan and Orla Jackson, which showcases Irish visual artists with connections to Britain. This exhibition celebrates the wide-ranging contributions of Irish visual arts, emphasising their sustained influence and distinctive presence within British culture.

The featured artists include Oisín Byrne, Aislinn Finnegan, Emmet Kierans, Richard Malone, Kerri McEvoy, Laura Ní Fhlaibhín, Eve O’Callaghan, Hazel O’Sullivan, Yuri Pattison, Kathy Prendergast, Eva Rothschild, Anne Ryan, Orla Jackson, and Joe Duggan.

Held from January 8–28, 2024, the exhibition brings together established and emerging artists working in sculpture, painting, and printmaking, displayed within the historic setting of the Embassy, a Grade II listed building.

Irish Art Now will be open to the public by appointment during specific opening hours, outlined above.

In conjunction with the exhibition, a panel discussion in later January will feature prominent figures from the Irish and UK art scenes. This discussion will explore the theme Irish Art Now, examining evolving narratives, challenges and provoking thought on the current and future role of Irish art in the UK.
