Armada Boat Trip aboard the Rose of Innisfree. Taking this tour boat from Doorly Park in Sligo, we cross Lough Gill as far as Parke's Castle, home of legendary Irish chieftain Brian O'Rourke, who took in Spaniards after the Armada ships were wrecked. Visit the castle and hear the history from expert guides. As we return to Sligo, we pass the Lake Isle of Innisfree, the subject of one of the most famous poems by Ireland's National Poet William Butler (W.B.) Yeats, who had close associations with Sligo.
