Originally from Ireland, David has been the Chief Executive Officer of the Greater Vancouver Food Bank since February 2019. Three-time awarded Business in Vancouver's Top 500 Most Influential Business Leaders in BC, David has reinvented the organization to focus on fresh, nutritious food for our Clients while gaining prestigious accolades, including recognition as one of Canada's Top Employers, BC Top Employer, Burnaby Board of Trade’s Non-Profit of the Year, and certification as a Living Wage Employer. A consistently passionate, captivating, and charismatic leader, he excels at assembling high-performing teams while creating a positive work culture. Before embarking on his remarkable journey in organizational transformation and philanthropic advancements, David worked as CEO of Terminal City Club, Vice President of Securiguard, and a multi-award-winning Executive Chef.
