Animation and Ireland Symposium 2024

The Animation and Ireland Symposium 2024 will take place in IADT on November 29th in Room A019, from 2:00- 4:30. Speakers from academia and industry will discuss aspects of contemporary Irish animation culture and share recent research on its history. Topics will include children's television; Frameworks; overlooked women creators; the Northern Irish context; and Irish feature animation. Speakers: Dr. Sarah Arnold (Maynooth University); Dr. Ruth Barton (Trinity College Dublin); Dr. Yvonne Hennessy (Technological University of the Shannon); Mark Mullery (Cartoon Saloon); Alec Parkin (University of Ulster); Sophie Quin (IADT).
