The Always Children First Foundation Training aims to create an awareness of Child Protection and Welfare issues in the Early Years sector. The aim of the training is to help participants understand how to safeguard children and report Child Protection and Welfare concerns.
This is a six hour programme and is facilitated by trainers from Donegal County Childcare Committee. The training is taking place over two afternoons, Wednesday 2nd & Thursday 3rd April, 2pm to 5pm and participants MUST attend both sessions to receive their certificate.
A prerequisite of attending this training is that participants have completed the Tusla e-learning Children First programme (within the last 12 months) and the Tusla Mandated Person e-learning programme. (The Mandated Person e-learning is a new requirement from 2024).
