A 8-week adapted Activator Walking programme aimed at those living with Neurological Conditions such as early onset of Multiple Sclerosis, early onset of Parkinsons or an impairment of functional ability.
This programme will be be delivered indoors with a range of seated and walking exercises with and without music.
What to expect?
This programme will use activators poles to get you moving and exercising in a safe, supported and fun environment.
What is Activator Walking?
Activator Poles are an adaption of Nordic poles and have been used by threrapists aimed at those who have balance concerns or mobility issues. Activator walking can promote aerobic fitness, mobility, strength, and balance for people with different abilities and fitness levels. The poles are suited for all levels and abilities.
The programme will be adapted to suit the needs and ability of particpants. Activator poles will be provided to participants for the duration of the programme.
