Following the success of our 2024 Halloween weekend getaway, we're thrilled to be back with an even more enchanting experience! Join us for the 3 Day Connemara Halloween Experience: "Culture and Castle Experience for Solo Travellers" at the Abbeyglen Castle Hotel in Clifden, Connemara, Ireland, from Saturday, October 25, 2025, to Monday, October 27, 2025. It's going to be an unforgettable adventure!

Location: Abbeyglen Castle Hotel, Clifden, Connemara, Ireland

Description: Join us for a spooktacular solo travel experience in the hauntingly beautiful Connemara region. Enjoy scenic walks, gourmet meals, live music, and more while staying at the famous Abbeyglen Castle Hotel, a 4-star gem and the most unique, picturesque hotel in the west of Ireland.

THE 3 DAY PLAN

Saturday, October 25th

3:00 PM - Check-in

• Settle into your twin ensuite room at Abbeyglen Castle Hotel (limited single rooms available).

6:30 PM - Welcome Drink ( welcome bubbles included ) and Spooky Chats

• Socialize with fellow travelers over a welcome drink.
• Local Ghost Stories at the Bar with Bubbles

• Learn about the eerie history of Connemara while enjoying more bubbles.

7:00 PM - 5-Course Halloween Dinner

• Indulge in a gourmet 5-course dinner with a Halloween twist.

9:00 PM - Music and Dancing at the Bar

• Dance the night away with live music and a DJ.

Sunday, October 26th

8:00 AM - 11:00 AM - Relax or Explore

• Relax during the morning or enjoy the stunning hotel grounds.

12:00 PM - History Walk with Kathleen

• Join our local historian, Kathleen, for a guided history walk of Cliden town.

2:00 PM - Soup, Gourmet Sambos, and Céilí in Local Pub

• Enjoy soup, gourmet sambos (sandwiches), and a céilí (traditional Irish dance) in a local pub in Clifden.

5:00 PM - Return to Abbeyglen Castle Hotel

• Free time to explore the hotel grounds or book a spa treatment (not included, must be booked separately in advance).

6:30 PM - Bubbles at the Bar

• Enjoy bubbles at the bar ( Bubbles included )

7:30 PM - 5-Course Gourmet Dinner

• Indulge in another delightful 5-course gourmet dinner at the hotel.

9:00 PM - Fancy Dress Party

• Join the fancy dress party with the theme "FIRE AND ICE!" and enjoy more music and dancing.

Monday, October 27th

8:00 AM - 10:00 AM - Breakfast

• Enjoy your final breakfast with new friends.

11:00 AM - Check-Out

• Farewell chats and free time to explore Clifden with your new connections.

12:30 PM - Free Time Around Clifden Town

• Explore the town's fascinating past and landmarks. (We will provide a self-guided tour guide).

Booking Information

Cost: €490 per person sharing a twin room. €150 supplement for a single room.

Deposit:

• €50 for a twin room
• €50 for a single room

Booking is not final until you receive an email to pay the second deposit. Trip subject to change to suit hotel, weather, etc. Note: Limited places available as it is a bank holiday weekend.

Refund Policy:

€50 non refundable or transferable to another trip if there is availabilty.

Full payment is due 6 weeks before our trip.

If you have a single room, a full refund is available up to 5 days before our trip.

If you have a shared twin room and cancel within 14 days, 50% is nonrefundable unless we can replace your spot.

• Dress to impress for dinner and dancing: bring your best evening attire for the 5-course dinners and lively nights of music and dancing.
