Taking inspiration from Carl Sagan’s “The Pale Blue Dot”, DTI's Vintage Youth’s new work, directed by DTI Artistic Directors Robert Connor & Loretta Yurick, will explore Nature, perspective, climate change, from the life experiences of the members. The new work acknowledges we are made of “star stuff” and –looking at our Planet, and the current states of affairs on Earth—asks us what is important? what is perspective? what is our legacy?
VINTAGE YOUTH Ensemble is Dance Theatre of Ireland’s Senior performance ensemble, an open group of older adults who came together as an outgrowth of DTI’s Well-Dance for Seniors modern dance classes. Since 2015 they have created and performed many original dance works in Theatres and for many public events and Festival.
