Rachael Lavelle

Dublin born singer andcomposer who captivates audiences with her arresting voice and humorous observations on existence. Merging classical and contemporary influences, her hypnotic live performances blend electronic soundscapes with spoken word and acrobatic vocals.

Rachael has featured in Sligo Live Arrivals in 2019 and her career has blossomed since. She has been nominated for a choice music award and collaborated with a wide range of ensembles and artists such as City Slang’s Anna B Savage, Crash Ensemble, Peter Broderick, Glasshouse, Saint Sister and appeared as a vocalist on Villagers ‘Fever Dreams’ album.

Elaine Howley is a songwriter, vocalist and producer who merges a tapestry of experimental and analogue processes with a love for classic songwriting and melody. Howley is a member of psychedelic rock group The Altered Hours, ambient trio Crevice and cinematic duo HowlBux and co-hosts the Cosmosis Radio Show on Dublin Digital Radio.

Howley released her first solo album 'The Distance Between Heart and Mouth' in 2022 through Touch Sensitive Records. The album saw a groundswell of support, was named as a future classic by Boomkat and was selected as The Thin Air’s album of the year in 2022. Since the album's release Elaine has played shows at the ICA London, The National Concert Hall Dublin & the Glucksman and Crawford galleries in Cork and toured extensively. Elaine performed a live session for BBC6 music in 2023 and collaborated with the Crash Ensemble in 2024 for Musictown Dublin.

Pitchfork praised ‘The Distance Between Heart & Mouth as “a spectral slow burn that refuses to trip over itself to get anywhere in particular. By absorbing the wisdom of the process, Howley permits her craft to resound deeper than ever”.
