It’s easy to use Eventbrite’s Reserved Seating tool when you create your event. Just turn on “Reserved Seating” under “Basic Info” to begin the process,

To create a Reserved Seating event:

Go to "Manage my events" in your account.
Select “Create event”
Under “Location”, select “Venue” and enter a physical address.
Select “Reserved seating”

*Please note: If this is your first event at this venue, you'll need to create a new venue map.

If you've created an event at the same venue before, you have the following options:

A. Create a new Venue Map and tickets.

B. Use a venue map from a previous event but create new tickets.

C. Use the venue map and ticket settings from a previous event.

No matter what option you choose, you'll be able to update the ticket settings and Venue Map with ease.

*Remember, you cannot enable Reserved Seating if:

Your event is a recurring event.

You already created tickets.

Your event uses a waitlist.

Setting up your custom venue map starts when you first create your event. After you click the “Create Event” button, you’ll be prompted to add a location to your event.
Click “Venue,” to quickly populate your venue location, and then select the “Reserved Seating” option, which will allow you to create a Venue Map for your event.
On the “Event creation” page, you can build out your venue map.
Click “Tickets,” then click “Create Venue Map.” This will open the Venue Designer tool, where you’ll be able to pick from a preset layout, or a blank canvas.

Pro Tip: Whether you select a preset layout or a blank canvas, you can make as many changes to the map as you like.

To view Your Reserved Seating dashboard follow these simple steps:

1. Navigate to your event dashboard
Go to "Manage events" in your account. Then select your event.

2. Go to “Reserved Seating dashboard” (under “Order options”)
If you do not see this option, make sure the admin on your account has given you permission to:
Edit Event details
Add attendees
Manage orders, refunds, transfers, and attendees

3. View your event seating chart
In this view, you can see which reserved seats are sold, held, or currently available within your event venue. You can also print or share your table seating chart from this screen.
